How LEAN Are You?
1. You’re invited to participate in an exciting new project. The first thing you do is:
A. Say yes, jump in and start working.
B. Question what the project is and what you’ll be doing.
C. Ask what problem everyone is trying to solve.
2. When a leader requests your help for something that has questionable value to anyone but the leader and you’re already stretched to the max, you say:
A. Yes, and…
B. Yes, but…
C. No. However, how about….
3. Your preferred way of getting something done is to:
A. Do it yourself because you know it will get done the right way.
B. Delegate it to a junior person in your department.
C. Channel Tom Sawyer and find people either in your department or others around the organization who will help you get the work done well and enjoy the experience.

A. Start from scratch because you don’t want to be boxed in a corner.
B. First review all your tools, templates and processes and then go searching for more to find the perfect thing for your needs.

C. Ways to do things better, which could mean eliminating waste as well as making improvements
